"Ganna knows how to create such an atmosphere that people dare to expose themselves step by step, to take risks and experiment with different ways of behavior and attitude so they can see and feel what the effect is and find out what suits them best."
I studied textual theatre, (Toneelacademie Maastricht), physical theatre (Kleine Academie Brussel) and modern clown techniques which is all about transparancy of being and getting to know your inner patterns (France). I practised acrobatics, dance and martial arts (Hiphop, African dance, Capoeïra, Kalaripayat and -still committed- Kungfu.)
Since 1996, I have been working in Holland and have travelled to different countries to perform, direct and train people: Haiti, Senegal, Morocco, Bosnia, Canada, Belgium, France e.o.
My fascination with the movement and musicality of the human (physical) expression has given me the opportunity to have inspiring encounters and collaborations with a great variety of people who deal with emotions and the expression of it.
From a large variety of theater-, movement- and coaching techniques and influences of different cultures I developed a way of working that focuses on:
For the last twenty years, I have been working with groups and individual people; professional artists like musicians, dancers, actors, opera singers, circus artists and also amateur adults, students, youngsters, children and people with dementia.
Next to the artistic world, I am welcomed trainer in business conferences and teambuilding sessions.
Since 2016 I work as the main trainer in physical theater at the talent development program of professional musicians at Oorkaan (www.oorkaan.nl)
My collaboration with the Dudok quartet and director Rosabel Huguet in "Quartets with Beethoven" was a huge success and got 4 stars and beautiful reviews.
I speak english and french fluently, am learning Spanish and would love to learn arabic.
